Join our team as a dynamic leader driving exceptional flavours for our food producers/manufacturers and consumers.
- Responsible for Flavour creation projects within Asia and Australasia regions
- Independently lead projects, developing flavours in line with business need and in response to customer brief.
- Proactively work with new ingredients
- Lead technical presentations and working sessions with customers.
- Interact with key customers to understand requirements and build solid relationships.
- Optimizing and adjustment of existing flavours for special applications
- Evaluation and utilization of analytical results including GCMS & sensory analyses for matching products
- Support of production regarding the implementation of flavours from lab into production.
- Compliance: work with Regulatory Affairs team to reformulate, to meet regulatory requirements due to customer or country regulations.
- Reformulate flavours to ensure continuity of supply, of selling products wherever there is a raw material supplier issue necessitating such a change.
A Bit About Your Background
- Solid background in organic chemistry, food chemistry, flavour applications.
- 10+ years’ experience as a Flavourist with extensive exposure to sweet flavour creation and Southeast Asian flavours
- Good knowledge of sweet modulation and masking flavour ingredients, flavour formulations, solvents and carriers systems, delivery systems, analytical methodologies and regulatory requirements.
- Proven track record in Flavourist career of Flavourist training certification.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity, make quality decisions and prioritize tasks effectively and efficiently under pressure and tight deadline.
- Experienced Flavourist across the various categories and technologies such as, confectionery, beverages, dairy, bakery, tea, health & nutrition.
- Excellent sensory skills, willingness to experiment and a high degree of creativity
- Experience in evaluating data from instrumental analytic (GCMS)
- Expertise in developing flavours for different encapsulation technologies
