YOUR ROLE 

You will be responsible for co-ordinating all aspects of quality control, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance within our organisation. Your primary objective will be to ensure that our products meet or exceed industry standards, customer expectations, and relevant regulatory requirements in Asia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proven experience liaising with Ministry of Health in Vietnam
  • Co-ordinate all regulatory documentation requirements for export into Asia
  • Experience in coordinating requirements exporting to Asia – current countries we operate in and are expanding to (but not limited to) are Indonesia, Thailand, India, Korea, Malaysia and Taiwan
  • Stay up to date with changes in food regulations and industry best practices, and proactively communicate relevant updates to internal stakeholders.
  • Advise customer and key stakeholders on legislative and regulatory queries
  • Assist in managing the 3PL warehouse
  • Coordinate quality control processes at our VN site
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical space in Asia and Indian subcontinent is desirable

YOUR SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS 

To be a complimentary fit for this role you will have:

  • Must be able to read and write in English and Vietnamese fluently.
  • Qualifications in Food Science or related discipline OR several years of experience in a food manufacturing environment
  • Experience in quality control, quality assurance, and regulatory affairs within the food industry
  • Hands on experience with HACCP principles, food safety management systems
  • Proven track record of successfully managing regulatory compliance and quality control programs.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with internal teams, external stakeholders, and regulatory authorities.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Personable nature to encourage staff to uphold and value quality procedures
  • Problem analysis and problem solving.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrates initiative and can work autonomously.
  • Collaborative with a positive attitude towards work and colleagues.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Willingness to learn and is flexible.
