Essential welcomed Premier Denis Napthine and Donna Bauer (Member for Carrum), to our head office in Carrum Downs during July to learn about flavour creation and production with an onsite tour.
Dr Napthine and Ms Bauer were given an exclusive tour through the production facility and experimental laboratory where Dr Napthine assisted in flavour creation and participated in a tasting of flavoured panna cotta and chocolate mousse with our research and development team, and Managing Director Tim Nielsen.
“We are very proud of our purpose-built facility and giving the Premier a tour was a fantastic opportunity to showcase our capabilities,” Mr Nielsen said.
Essential recently participated in the 2013 Super Trade Mission to South East Asia, which has assisted our expanding presence both domestically and globally.
“We are always looking for ways to give value to our customers, such as our sensory evaluation room and dedicated lab space designed to assist customers with any complications in development,” Mr Nielsen said.
The Victorian Coalition Government-led mission saw up to 350 Victorian companies participate across several countries, providing an opportunity for Essential to meet potential buyers in the region and to build stronger networks with other Victorian food companies.
Dr Napthine shared morning tea with Essential employees in our colourful, designated eating area that encompasses our value for good food and an inspiring place to work.
With the support of the Coalition Government’s trade mission and a continued focus on providing exceptional quality and customer service through premium business relationships, Essential’s Australian developed and made flavours continue to enhance products throughout the food and beverage industry.
