Essential’s SQF Celebration
Packing Punches with Pineapple

The Essential team were very proud and excited to celebrate our recent SQF Level 3 Accreditation with our business partners at the MCG last month.
The cocktail-style party roared to life at 7pm and carried through the night with a flow of drinks and canapés from the Tom Wills Room, overlooking the magnificent Melbourne Cricket Ground. A delightful musical duet filled the room with acoustic renditions of popular songs and the night progressed with SQF-themed games and prizes.
Essential has been HACCP certified since 2004 and early last year Essential set a goal to obtain SQF accreditation by the end of 2013. Realising the increased food safety demand from consumers and manufactures, Essential understood that fitting in with the Global Food Safety Initiative standards was a necessary progression and an opportunity for further growth and development.
It gives the Essential team great pleasure to announce that on August 1st this year, after just 16 months, Essential received SQF Level 3 accreditation with an E rating and a score of 100 points – a very pleasing outcome.
The team at Essential continuously work hard as a team to develop and maintain mutually beneficial, long-term relationships with our clients, and contribute to their success by developing delightfully flavoured, quality food, beverage and nutritional products.
SQF accreditation highlights Essential’s commitment to food safety and quality, business leadership, customer service, and research and development.
